apple is smart but they are so successful because their competition is lame
Jobs is genius pretty much
and that thing about CD quiality is **** cause that quality is 192kbps and he said his ipod holds 1000 songs at 160kbps, so…
this is why I **** Steve’s product introductions, he talks **** about other companies, even showing their logos to say, hey youre losers and Im a winner.. ***?

To all the children here who think this first iPod is really big and fat, you don’t know or remember what it’s COMPETITION was like in 2001. Go look up pictures of the “Archos Jukebox” and the Creative Labs “Nomad 3″ . They wouldn’t even FIT in a pocket. Side by side the iPod was sleek and tiny. And the only truly “shirt pocket” portable hard drive player. “also his USB numbers are for USB 1 not todays USB 2″
As much as people make fun of this, it really was a breakthrough if you consider the time period!
