How do i manage my Creative Vision M mp3 player?

I just got given my creative mp3 player and i don’t know how to manage the song files on it. i downloaded creative mediasource organiser but when i press transfer it doesnt show my device only a midi. Also i don’tknow how to charge it. i have a usb but it doesnt seem to be charging. can someone please tell me how to manage this damn thing thanks :)
