Will a USB recharger from a Motorola Cellphone work for a Creative ZEN Mp3 player?

My Cellphone is a Moto V3X, and my mp3 player is a Creative Zen V3 Plus. Will the phone charger of my cellphone work if I use it on my mp3 player? Or will it get damaged?

asked: My son just bought a Zen Creative MP3 player but we cant find any websites that look legitimate enough to put our credit card information on. The movies have to be in MJPEG, WMV9, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4/5, or XviD format. Please Help!!!
